My name is Brett Heppolette, born in 1950 and from Lancashire, England.
I first got hooked on computers back in the late 1980’s whilst working as Stock Controller
for A G Barr soft drinks (they make IrnBru and Tizer in Scotland).
At the time we used an A3 sheet of paper to keep track of the stock until my new manager said
he would like to get the stock put onto a “Spreadsheet” and gave me an Amstrad dual floppy drive
computer, no hard drive.
Using Lotus 123 software and Microsoft DOS 6.2, later to become Windows, I taught myself,
with lots of overtime, to put the stock on a Spreadsheet and this was later added to Barr’s
mainframe computer a few years later.
I have built computers, repaired them for customers and taught people to use them, then went onto design websites for clients.
Now in my youth I am designing websites for myself to make a little pin money and to keep my mind active.
Recently I started publishing my own puzzle books which you can see on the main page of this website.
